Characteristics: Sencha produced in Kyoto. This tea is characterized by a slightly bitter yet refreshing flavor. The tea leaves are picked in the latter part of May.

Taste: Bitter, Refreshing

Color: Light yellow

Brewing Tip: Temperature of hot water = 80°C/176°F
Amount of tea leaves used per tea pot = 8g per 12 oz. water.
Steeping time = 1 minute 30 seconds
