Origin: Kyoto

Characteristics: Karigane (kukicha) is made from the stems of the highest grade Gyokuro produced in Kyoto. This is characterized by an excellent harmony of the woody stem aroma and Matcha sweetness.

Taste: Sweet, fresh stem aroma

Brewing Tip: Temperature of hot water = 80°C/176°F Amount of tea leaves used per tea pot = 8g per 12 oz. water
Steeping time = 2 minutes
